Quick Haul

“Quick Haul” is a thrilling game crafted by Stcash, originally designed for the “ScoreSpace Jam #30”. All elements of the game, including art, music, and design, are unique creations by Stcash.

Objective

The aim of the game is to spend a minute at sea, collecting items like wreckage, treasure, and other objects, and selling them at the port. The ultimate goal is to accumulate the highest total dollar value within the one-minute timeframe.

Gameplay

Your ship can carry up to 20 units. Each scavenged item has a weight that corresponds to its value. Regular unloading is necessary to prevent your ship from becoming overweight and immobile.

At the start of the game, your ship is at sea. As you navigate, your radar will alert you if there’s an item in the water beneath you. Press and hold the “space” button to draw the item up towards your ship. Be careful, though - if you pick up a bomb, it will force you to dump your load at sea.

Controls

• Left and Right: Move
• Z: Unload your cargo while away from the dock (this will result in the loss of all items on your ship)
• X: Unload your cargo while docked (this action takes 5 seconds and is represented by a timer above the dock)
• Space: Draw up an item when it is beneath your ship
• Bombs: Force you to unload your ship when drawn up

Please note that all items have a weight and value. The weight determines how much space the item takes up in your ship, and the value is how much the item is worth when sold at port.
